the location
Somerton Hall Glamping is situated in a quiet village in Norfolk. The site is based just over a mile from the coast which boasts large beaches that are perfect for serene walks. The main building dates mostly to the 16th and 18th century, but later 19th century additions are also present. The most noteworthy feature of the Hall is the fact that several of the large wooden joists in the cellar were originally ships timbers. The Hall offers large, quiet gardens; perfect for a spot of glamping!

THE GLAMPSITE
Stanley and Charlotte opened Somerton Hall Glamping in Spring 2023. The glampsite currently offers one 6m Stargazer Lotus Belle Tent and is the perfect spot for a couple's retreat. This tent has its own private outdoor shower and flushing toilet. The tent is heated by an electric oil radiator and boasts a large space to relax and soak up the countryside scenery or watch the stars from the comfort of your king sized bed. There is an option to add an extra king sized mattress into the tent for two extra guests.

OUR STORY
Somerton Hall has been Charlotte's family home for the past 26 years and has been a beautiful setting to grow up in! Stanley and Charlotte have known each other since primary school and have both always wanted to share their love of Norfolk with others. During Stanley's masters degree, he created a glamping business plan; and so Somerton Hall Glamping was born! You will normally find Charlotte outside with the horses, feel free to say hello to our animals; they are all very friendly!
